• ELECTRONICS RECYLING The Greene County Highway Department at 67 Scott Lane in Athens accepts household hazardous waste on Sat., June 6. Participants are asked to arrive during these suggested times based on the first letter of their last name: A-G from 8-9 am, H-N from 9-10 am, O-T from 10-11 am, and U-Z from 11 am until noon. This is for Greene County residents only, proof of residency is required. Email SolidWaste@DiscoverGreene.com or call (518) 943-4600 for details on what materials will be accepted.
