• ALBANY INTERNET Chelsea Diana in the Albany Business Review reports the City of Albany is forming a working group to study the city's broadband Internet situation. “The first step is asking the right questions, which is what we want this study to do,” said Jeff Mirel, a member of the task force and executive vice president at The Rosenblum Cos. in a statement. “What are the real broadband needs and issues that both businesses and residents experience here? Is it infrastructure, technology, education, affordability? Meanwhile, nearby, the story says Rensselaer is considering building a fiber connection throughout the city.
