NWS issues Hazardous Weather Outlook

The National Weather Service in Albany has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for today for the Mohawk Valley, Capital Region and southern Vermont. There is a slight chance of non-severe thunderstorms ahead of a cold front late this afternoon into this evening. The winds will increase from the south to southwest ahead of the cold front at 15 to 30 mph with some gusts in the 35 to 45 mph range. If higher gusts occur, then a wind advisory may be needed for some locations later today. The probability of widespread hazardous weather is low.
