Feb 21, 2014 9:13 am
Jim Planck is reporting in The Daily Mail the Hunter Town Board has renewed a disputed junkyard license for Haines Falls Auto. The license runs for two years, and is conditional upon the facility adhering to a list of requirements set by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. At the meeting of the full board, Councilman David Legg moved the license be granted, conditional upon the timely fulfillment of all the DEC’s requirements, and that if violations occur, it be retracted, which was seconded by Councilman Raymond Legg.
