2 a.m.: 2nd Annual Deep Listening Conference: Day One Wave Farm Radio and WGXC 90.7-FM are pleased to present a webstream and Saturday live broadcast of the 2nd Annual Deep Listening Conference. Artists, scientists, educators, and researchers will gather from around the world to share ideas on the art and science behind the theory and practice of deep listening developed by composer Pauline Oliveros. The theory of deep listening describes the world of sound; the practice of deep listening cultivates a focused awareness of those sounds and their meanings. There will be three keynote addresses: one on the science of deep listening and two on the ways deep listening intersects with art. The full broadcast schedule is available at wgxc.org/events.

A radio program featuring international and national news, expert guests, policy makers and critics with analysis and insight on national security, foreign and domestic policy, political, cultural and social issues.
