Locks installed on Windham supervisor's office

Apr 24, 2014 5:00 am
Michael Ryan is reporting in the Windham Journal the locks to the Windham Town Supervisor's office have been changed. A sign was taped to the office door, Sat., Apr. 19, advising those who wished access to contact Supervisor Stacey Post directly. Traditionally town board members and other municipal officials were permitted to access the space during regular business hours. When asked about the changes Post said she was not at liberty to discuss the matter. State police investigators raided Post's home and seized a computer at her town hall office in March. No charges have been filed and the investigation is ongoing. The Windham Town Board will meet Thurs., Apr. 24. A letter of resignation from interim police chief George Tortorelis is expected to be on the agenda. Post served as police chief until she was elected supervisor in late 2013. Tortorelis replaced Post in January. Read the full story in the Windham Journal.
