This Week in Radio News: Stan Freberg, John Brennan, Edward Snowden, John Oliver
5:35 a.m. – 6 a.m.
"This Week in Radio News" listens to three stories this week. First, listen back to the radio career of Stan Freberg, who passed away this week. Wikipedia reports Freberg was, "an American author, recording artist, animation voice actor, comedian, radio personality, puppeteer, and advertising creative director, whose career began in 1944." This show tunes in some of the promotional spots he made for the radio industry with Quincy Jones and Sarah Vaughan, and his "The Old Payola Roll Blues" about the radio and recording industries. Also, we tune in an April 7 question-and-answer session with CIA Director John Brennan, and John Oliver interviews Edward Snowden and part of his interview goes viral.

TBA: Stürm und Drang
