Assembly candidates to debate at C-GCC

Tom Casey reports in the Register Star the auditorium of Columbia-Greene Community College will be the scene Mon., Oct. 29, of two debates between candidates in the 102nd and 106th Assembly District races. The first, between Democrat Didi Barrett and GOP challenger David Byrne. The second, between incumbent Assembly member Pete Lopez, a Republican, and Democrat challenger Jimmy Miller. This is the first debate for Barrett and Byrne; the second, for Lopez and Miller. The debate is sponsored by Hudson-Catskill Newspapers and the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce.
