Rhizome is an arts organization that works with artists engaging technology. Their programs include commissions, exhibitions, events, discussion, archives, and portfolios. Rhizome began in 1996 by artist Mark Tribe as an email list subscribed to by some of the first artists to work online and is now a thriving nonprofit, part of the New Museum in New York City. Heather Corcoran is now executive director, and during a visit to Wave Farm Oct. 10, 2010, she discussed the organization's past, present, and future. Click here to listen to the interview.
