Warren Ng has recorded and played under various group and solo monikers and is the author of numerous immersive sound texts and spinner of vast fictions for the groups this invitation, somnabulists and a blanket of snow. these various aggregations dabble in the dialectic between disintegrated song structure and long form improvisational guitar. published works include this invitation's "the skin of light" (2004) and an appearance on the compilation "music for plants" (perfectIfOn, 2005), with a number of further releases due in 2008. Bio for Alice Cohen: I grew up in philly, where i was in a bunch of bands, including the vels. then i moved to new york and was in a bunch of bands including die monster die. more recent bands include espadrille, the long lost, and castles. at the moment, i'm doing the solo thing and working on recording a record. i also play in LYDSOD.
