Dems vote to enforce subpoena; Stefanik against

On Oct. 21 local Democrats Antonio Delgado, Paul Tonko, and Sean Maloney all voted in the U.S. House of Representatives to find Stephen Bannon in contempt of Congress for refusal to comply with a subpoena issued by the Select Committee to Investigate the January 6 Attack on the United States Capitol. Republican Elise Stefanik voted against holding someone accountable to Congress who is accused of helping to organize an attempt to overthrow the government of the United States. Stefanik also voted, hours after the January 6 storming of the U.S. Capitol, to object to Pennsylvania's electoral college votes. The measure to hold Bannon in contempt passed 229-to-202, with only nine Republicans voting with the Democrats,
