Warren supporters in Kinderhook Saturday

MoveOn, Democracy for America, and the Working Families Party are sponsoring "honk-and-wave" rallies around the country this weekend supporting Massachussets Senator Elizabeth Warren, including Feb. 14 at 10 a.m. in Kinderhook, at 1:30 p.m. in Saratoga Springs, and Feb. 15 in Colonie. Warren has said, "no" when asked if she will run for president, but activist groups think her consumer advocacy would make for a good president. The Kinderhook rally is at Kinderhook Village Square. "She stands for a lot of positive things in our eyes and that's really what we're trying to promote," Jim Botta, an organizer for the Albany rally, said.
