CHIPS funding to help patch Windham roads

Michael Ryan is reporting in the Windham Journal Windham officials recently learned the town this year will receive more than $83,000 in CHIPS funding. The Department of Transportation's Consolidated Local Street and Highway Improvement Program provides support to local municipalities for highway-related expenditures and projects. Windham highway superintendent Thomas Hoyt will announce later this month the various transportation-related projects the town will tackle this summer. Read the full story in the Windham Journal.
