The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook. A potent storm system is expected to impact the area tonight significant rainfall may occur, from the Capital Region southward. The potential for some river flooding and tidal issues along the Hudson will be closely monitored. Strong southeast winds may also develop, especially in areas where channeling occurs.
