Today: Partly sunny. High near 76. Monday night, and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 4 a.m. Increasing clouds. Low around 59. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for the southern Berkshires and the Catskills, greater Capital Region, Mid-Hudson Valley and southern Taconics, from Tues., Apr. 15 through Sun., Apr. 20. A slow-moving cold front will bring periods of rain, possibly heavy at times on Tuesday. This rain could produce ponding of water on roads, and sharp within bank rises on some streams and rivers. This is based on a forecast of one to two inches of rainfall. If later forecasters project even more rainfall, a flood watch may be issued.
Tuesday: Periods of rain and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. High near 65. Breezy, with a south wind 16 to 22 mph, with gusts as high as 33 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New rainfall amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible. Tuesday night, rain showers likely before 3 a.m., then a slight chance of rain and snow showers. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy. Low around 30. Northwest wind around 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
