This workshop is designed to teach individuals how to get started growing American ginseng on forested land. It will cover basic ginseng botany, economics of ginseng production, site selection criteria, harvesting and marketing. There will be an opportunity to see what this interesting and valuable plant looks like in a demonstration plot.
