DA Wilhelm running unopposed for county judge

Ariel Zangla is reporting in the Daily Freeman Greene County District Attorney Terry Wilhelm is running unopposed in his bid to replace retiring County Judge George Pulver. A Republican, Wilhelm is the only candidate for judge on the Nov. 5 ballot; he is running on the GOP and Conservative lines. The office carries a 10-year term. Wilhelm has been the county’s district attorney for 14 years. In addition to serving as prosecutor and in private practice, Wilhelm served as Catskill village justice in 1980 and 1981. He became an assistant district attorney in 1982 and district attorney on Jan. 1, 2000. Read the full story in the Daily Freeman.
