Community Voices wants Durham to stay open

Seven members appeared at the Board of Education meeting, Thurs., Oct. 4, to present board members with a list of questions they want answered at the next Durham Elementary building use forum. The questions focused on transportation changes and expenses, were the schools to merge, staff cuts and changes, and building maintenance costs. Last week, the Board of Education held a forum featuring four guest speakers to answer questions and share data about plans for the building.class sizes and the effect on academics and internal procedural issues.
