The National Weather Service in Albany has issued a Flash Flood Watch for the region, including Greene, Columbia, Dutchess and Ulster counties, for Thu., Jul. 9. An area of organized showers and thunderstorms will move across the watch area late Thursday afternoon through late Thursday night, producing very heavy rainfall in a relatively short period of time. Widespread rainfall amounts of one to three inches are expected with isolated amounts over four inches possible.
