Ian McColm is a drummer, guitarist, and composer from Alexandria, VA. Aside from his work with ambient guitar duo Nagual, he has appeared on releases from Feeding Tube and Marmara Records and shared stages and bills with likes of Rufus Reid, Aaron Dilloway, Chris Corsano, Robert Turman, Home of Easy Credit, MV/EE, Ben Greenberg, Daniel Bachman, and Sylvaine Helary. In fall of 2012, Ian was featured on two new releases: Leminiscate Duo, with Washington, D.C. drone artist Chris Videll, and the Nagual/Katie Buono collaboration.
Jack Patterson is a multi-instrumentalist from Baltimore, Maryland. At age fourteen, he experienced a cerebral hemorrhage in Guitar Center, and formed the band Needle Gun, wherein his neural trauma gushed forth into myriad self-effacing infrahuman night terrors. His more recent attempts have involved the defacement of Steve Jobs, hemorrhoidal intimacy, violin, and synthesizers. This has occurred alone, as well as in groups such as Schweinmacht and Gram Nath, sharing stages with the likes of Rodger Stella.
