The National Weather Service in Albany has issued a Wind Chill Warning for the WGXC listening area until 7 a.m., January 7. Expect wind chills to range from 15 below zero to 40 below zero. These dangerously cold wind chills will cause frostbite to exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes. Also, winds gusting to 45 mph will cause some blowing and drifting of snow.

TODAY: Mostly sunny and cold, with a high near 1. Wind chill values as low as -25. Saturday night should be mostly clear, with a low around -12. Wind chill values could be as low as -26.

FORECAST FOR THE NEXT TWO DAYS:
SUNDAY: Mostly sunny, with a high near 14. Wind chill values as low as -22. Sunday night there is a 20 percent chance of snow with mostly cloudy skies, and a low around 11.
MONDAY: Snow is likely, with a high near 32, and a low around 24.
