The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook today into next week. Some patchy frost is possible tonight in outlying areas. The coldest air mass since last spring will combine with a clear sky and little or no wind to produce the freezing temperatures and a widespread frost across the region, Friday night, thus ending the agricultural growing season.

The outlook for the next three days:

Friday: A slight chance of showers before 11 a.m. Cloudy through mid-morning, then gradual clearning. High near 54. Widespread frost after midnight. Otherwise, clear. Low around 28.
Saturday:
Sunny. High near 53. Chance of showers overnight; mostly cloudy. Low around 44.
Sunday:
