Zolan Kanno-Youngs and Jesse McKinley report in The New York Times that New Yorkers of all political beliefs may see slower entry through borders and airport lines because the president does not like a certain New York law. On Feb. 5 President Donald Trump's Department of Homeland Security temporarily barred New Yorkers from joining Global Entry and similar “Trusted Traveler Programs,” that allow quicker entry through borders and airport lines. The President does not like a New York law that allows undocumented immigrants to obtain driver’s licenses, and this action is retribution. Chad Wolf, the acting secretary of homeland security, said that New York State residents could no longer apply for the programs because of the so-called Green Light Law. “This is obviously political retaliation by the federal government, and we’re going to review our legal options,” Rich Azzopardi, a senior adviser to Gov.
