The National Weather Service in Albany has issued a Winter Storm Watch Saturday morning to Sunday morning, for the central and eastern Mohawk Valley, southeastern Adirondacks, Lake George and Saratoga region, greater Capital Region, including the northern and eastern Catskills, Mid-Hudson Valley, Taconics, southern Vermont, Berkshires and northwestern Connecticut. There is the potential for seven or more inches of snow, with a maximum snowfall rate of up to onch per hour from late Saturday into Sunday morning. Light snow will begin Saturday morning and become steadier and heavier through the night, tapering off by mid-day, Sunday.
