The proposed expansion of the runway at the Columbia Country Airport in Ghent, run by the Richmor Corporation under lease from the county, continues to generate controversy. Last week, a special committee of the county Board of Supervisors held an afternoon meeting at which the public was allowed to participate. Richmor representative, Mahlon Richards, submitted to questioning, and his answers surprised many on both sides of the issue. We recorded the entire meeting and it will be played in its entirety, which should interest anyone living in our hearing range. Hosted by Tom DePietro.
