UPDATE (6:30 p.m.) -- In a statement released late this afternoon, the Greene County Sheriff's Office reported a preliminary investigation that included a crash scene reconstruction by the New York State Police, indicated the vehicle driven by the surviving driver crossed the center yellow lines and struck Olson's vehicle. The identity of that driver is not being released pending further investigation.
