The Village of Coxsackie Wastewater Treatment Facility has issued an Environmental Alert following a combined sewer overflow discharge of untreated sewage in the village. The discharge occurred over a two-hour period beginning at 9 p.m., Tue., Feb. 16, due to the heavy rainfall and snow melt. It is unknown if any public areas were impacted by the spill.
