Second Mystic Krewe of Barkus Pet Parade
Sat. Oct. 24, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. along Warren St. in Hudson.
United Way of Columbia and Greene Counties holds a pet parade and costume contest that lines up at the 7th Street Park at 10 a.m.

Trick-or-Treat
Sat. Oct. 24, 1-3 p.m. at The Fields Sculpture Park at Omi in Ghent.
Art-making, hayrides, and a candy hunt amongst the sculptures in the park.

A Great Sorrow
Sat. Oct. 24, 4 p.m. at the Bronck Museum, Coxsackie.
"A Great Sorrow," an early American funeral. Tours begin at 4 p.m., 4:45 p.m., and 5:30 p.m.

Here Come the VideoFreex
Sat. Oct. 24, 4:30 p.m.; Oct. 25, 8:45 p.m.
Story of the U.S.'s first pirate television station, launched in Greene County in the 1970s. Sat. at Hudson Lodge 601 S. Union St., Hudson, and Sunday in Chatham at Crandell Theatre at 8:45 p.m., both part of FilmColumbia.

Ghostly Gallop 5K
Sun., Oct 25, 11 a.m. at Hudson Jr./Sr. High School.
15th Annual Ghostly Gallop 5K, benefits the Hudson Area Library.

Halloween Herd Parade
Sun., Oct 25, 3-5 p.m. at High & Mighty Therapeutic Riding Center, Ghent.
Annual Halloween costume parade, without masks.
