Greene and Columbia counties both have high rates of enrollment in the Affordable Care Act, according to data compiled by Politico.com. In Columbia County, 10 percent of residents are enrolled in the new national health care program, and nine percent of Greene County residents are signed up. Albany, Rensselear, and Delaware counties had just seven percent enrollment, Schoharie and Dutchess counties have eight percent involvement, and 10 percent of Ulster County residents have joined the program.
