The Associated Press is reporting the New York State Thruway has been reopened to commercial traffic. The Long Island Expressway, which also was closed, was scheduled to reopen 8 a.m. Friday. Interstate 84 between the Pennsylvania and Connecticut borders also was scheduled to reopen to commercial and passenger vehicles at 8 a.m.
