Stewart Airport adds new cargo carrier

MidHudsonNews [dot] com is reporting the air cargo service Kalitta Air is now serving New York Stewart International Airport. Kalitta is flying Monday through Friday to Los Angeles. The Ypsilanti, Michigan-based Kalitta Air was launched in November 2000 by Conrad Kalitta. According to the trade publication “Air Cargo World,” the airline originally planned to set-up shop at JFK but opted instead to locate at New York Stewart. Kalitta owns 24 Boeing 747-400 freightliners and eight Boeing 767-300 freightliners. Read the full story at MidHudsonNews [dot] com.
