During the current school year, a small group of 4th- and 5th-grade students at Montgomery C. Smith Intermediate School in Hudson has dedicated their Tuesday afternoons to exploring and understanding the complex concept of identity. They developed their racial and ethnic identities by investigating race, beauty, and culture relative to themselves and their greater Hudson community. At this event, students will share their newfound understandings, as well as the process they used to develop these understandings and culminate in a student-led, live press conference with Hudson Mayor Rick Rector.
