The National Weather Service in Albany has issued Wind Chill Advisory from 6 p.m., Fri., Jan. 30, through 11 a.m., Sat., Jan. 31 for the Greater Capital Region, Mid-Hudson Valley and the Catskills. Dangerous wind chills, as low as 24 below, are expected. Temperatures are forecast to drop to zero or lower overnight Friday. Periods of snow have produced an inch or two of snow in areas overnight. While treated roads might be mostly wet, there could be patches of black ice. Secondary roads are likely to be snow covered and slippery. An additional inch or two of snow is expected to fall before the snow tapers to scattered snow showers by afternoon.

To celebrate the launch of Reality Radio, a four-month durational project spanning February to May 2015 featuring a continuous audio surveillance feed from the Bard College Percussion Studio headed by Sō Percussion, we have this special. Reality Radio positions those who move throughout the studio – students, professors, administrators, visitors, even maintenance crews – in the role of performer, with listening audiences as ever present observers, and is a co-presentation of Wave Farm, the Bard College Conservatory of Music, and the John Cage Trust. David Degge, Jon Collazo, and Petra Elek all perform and discuss their percussion work and their part in Reality Radio.
