DEC's hearings on hydraulic fracturing begin

Today's hearing is at The Forum Theatre, 236 Washington Street, in Binghamton. YNN.com created a live webstream of the first hearing, and promises the same for today's hearing in Binghamton. The public comment period on the draft regulations ends Dec. 12. The final hearings are Nov. 29 at the Sullivan County Community College, Seelig Theatre, 112 College Rd, in Loch Sheldrake and Nov. 30 at the Tribeca Performing Arts Center, 199 Chambers Street, in Manhattan. Each public hearing will have an afternoon and an evening session from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
