The Huyk Preserve and Biological Research Station is putting on a Bittersweet Cutting event to give participants an opportunity to give back to the planet on Earth Day. Stewardship Coordinator Garrett Chisholm will lead the group to cut back the invasive Asiatic bittersweet vine that threatens the health of our forests. Wearing long pants and sleeves and sturdy shoes is recommended. Work gloves and a limited number of loppers are available to borrow, or participants can bring their own.

This is open to the public, and registration is not required but is helpful in planning this event.
