Air Quality Alert in Ulster, Dutchess counties

The Daily Freeman reports that the state Department of Environmental Conservation issued an “air quality alert” for Ulster and Dutchess counties from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Fri., May 8. "Air quality levels of outdoor air are predicted to exceed recommended levels for ozone, a pollutant at ground level," the report said.
