Weather update; cancellations

Snow will start to taper of[f] across the entire region over the next hour, some occasional bursts of snow are possible through the afternoon with minimal amounts of additional accumulation. The forecast seems to have verified across the entire region. Now our attention turns to the end of the week and the weekend as we track cold air that may challenge records, and the potential for more snow...

The National Weather Service in Albany's Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 6 a.m., Tue., Feb. 10. Total storm accumulation of 8 to 14 inches is expected through Monday night. The snow is expected to taper to snow showers Monday night. Some patchy freezing drizzle will be possible.

Meeting cancellations

Due to inclement weather, the Greene County Legislature's County Services and Public Works Committee meetings scheduled for this evening (Mon., Feb. 9) have been cancelled and rescheduled for 6 p.m., Tue., Feb. 17.

Hudson City School District Board of Education workshop and meeting are canceled.
Hudson Industrial Development Agency meeting has been canceled. The Common Council Informal meeting has been rescheduled to 7 p.m., Tue., Feb. 10 (City Hall, 520 Warren St., Hudson).

The meeting of the Columbia Economic Development Corp. scheduled for Tue.,, Feb. 10, has been canceled. The next CEDC meeting is Feb. 24.
