The Cairo-Durham school district alerted parents Oct. 3 of a reported case of EV-D68 at Cairo-Durham Middle School. The school system posted a letter to parents warning of possible symptoms, and what community members can do to reduce the chance transmission of the virus spreads locally. On Sept. 15, the Greenville school district announced that a student has been diagnosed with enterovirus D68.
