Casey Seiler is reporting at Capitol Confidential Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo announced Mon., Apr. 14, the selection of 215 new state Master Teachers, including two from Columbia and Greene counties. Jason Reinhard of the Cairo-Durham Central School District, and Dolores Storey of the New Lebanon School District were among the 23 teachers in the Capital Region acknowledged to be the highest-performing professionals in their field. Subjects of expertise include calculus, algebra, physics, earth science, chemistry, engineering design and development, and genetics.
