The Town of Greenport will hold the first of two public hearings relative to Community Development Block Grant funding application opportunities. The purpose of the hearing is to give citizens an opportunity to identify and discuss the community’s overall needs and priorities, including the needs of low and moderate income persons, and to propose possible community improvement projects that the Town of Greenport may wish to submit to the NYS Office of Community Renewal for CDBG funding. Eligible funding opportunities include $400,000 for Housing or Public Facilities, $600,000 for Public Infrastructure and $900,000 for Shared Municipal Infrastructure.
