Oct 30, 2013 6:56 am
Emilia Teasdale is reporting in the Columbia Paper the Chatham Town Board has appointed a committee to explore the feasibility of building a new courthouse and recreation center at Crellin Park. Currently the town court is housed at the Tracy Memorial in the Village of Chatham and the Recreation Program is without an indoor space. At the the regular board meeting last week, Supervisor Jesse DeGroodt said it appears the town has outgrown the space at Tracy Memorial. The committee will meet Thurs., Nov. 7 and Thurs., Nov. 21, to discuss a feasibility study and look at the needs of both the court and the Recreation Program.
