Developer JMS Construction Services has announced its plans for the former Greenport Elementary School parcel located on Route 66 in Greenport. In a statement released May 4, the company characterized The Falls as an upscale apartment complex, calling it "Goldilocks" living in Hudson. The development consists of 116 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments in two new four-story structures, on the 22-acre site, which will also include walking trails, a dog run, a swimming pool and outdoor tennis courts. The rental units would range in price from $1,300 to $1,900 per month. “We believe it's an unbeatable combination of urban chic and country living,” said John Perri, Business Manager at JMS Construction Services. What the company calls a ‘just right’ environment. The complex will retain the historic school building to house common areas. JMS hopes to open The Falls first phase in the summer of 2016.
