Storm knocks power out in Greenport, Hudson

From Fox23 News from Columbia County 911:
"A State of Emergency has been declared for the Town of Greenport due to extensive storm damage. Please avoid travel in Greenport where possible."

Photo by Jess Puglisi at 4 p.m. Fri., June 22.[/caption]The National Weather Service in Albany issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for all counties in the WGXC listening area through 9 p.m. Greene, Columbia, Schoharie, Delaware, Albany, Rennselear, Dutchess, and Ulster counties are all included in the warning for severe storms with gusting winds and downpours.

UPDATE: The storm that came through Hudson has shut down power in Hudson, and knocked WGXC 90.7-FM off the air. Live webstream is available now at http://comm.free103point9.org:8000/transmissionarts.mp3.m3u

UPDATE: WGXC is back on 90.7-FM, but wgxc.org webstream is down. Webstream above is working.

"Graduation will continue as scheduled tonight, June 22, at 7 p.m. in the HHS auditorium."
