The National Weather Service in Albany has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for northwestern Connecticut, western Massachusetts, east central New York and southern Vermont. There will be scattered to numerous thunderstorms all day Monday, but mainly during the afternoon and evening. The thunderstorms are not expected to become severe, but could produce heavy rainfall. The storms will be moving from the northeast to southeast at around 35 mph.
