Current President James Campion, 68, will retirement in June, after nearly 20 years of service. The school formed an 18-member search committee, which includes college faculty, administration, staff, students, representatives from Columbia and Greene counties and the State University of New York. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strength in academic development, facilities management, fundraising and maintaining a positive campus culture for students, faculty, staff and the community at-large, O’Hara said. The college will be aided by the higher-education executive search firm RH Perry and Associates to help draw up a job description, identify problems the committee might experience and search for candidates.
