The Daily Freeman is reporting unemployment rates fell last month in six of seven local counties, the state Department of Labor reported, Tues., Nov. 26. Only Dutchess County had a jump in joblessness, up one-tenth of a percent from September to October. In Greene County, unemployment dropped from 7.5 percent to 7.3 percent; in Columbia County, the jobless rate declined from 6.1 percent from 6 percent.
