Moore sworn in as city's top cop

L. Edward Moore was sworn in as Hudson's new police chief in a packed Central Firehouse on the city's northside, Mon., Mar. 18. With his wife Diane alongside, Moore took the ceremonial oath administered by his brother, Livingston Town Justice Robert Q. Moore. In the speech that followed, Moore spoke about the city and his goals for the department. PLAY Moore's remarks (3:41). Moore is a 32-year veteran police officer. He previously served as the First Sergeant of the State Police’s Troop K. He is a graduate of Germantown High School.
