The National Weather Service in Albany has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for northwestern Connecticut, western Massachusetts, east central New York and southern Vermont beginning tonight. Two disturbances look to bring substantial rainfall to the region starting Thursday and lasting into Saturday. The potential is there for three to five inches of rainfall across the region during this time. The timing of the heaviest rainfall rates and the location of the heaviest rainfall remain uncertain at this time. If confidence increases that heavy rainfall will occur, a flood watch will be issued. Thunderstorms are possible Friday into Saturday.
