The National Weather Service in Albany has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for northwestern Connecticut, western Massachusetts, east central New York and southern Vermont from today through Thursday night. Scattered to numerous thunderstorms are possible today, especially during the afternoon and evening hours. While widespread severe weather is not expected, a few storms may become strong to possibly severe. The main threat with any storm is damaging wind gusts in excess of 57 mph. Storms will move from west to east at around 20 to 25 mph.
