Today's forecast is specific to Catskill, in Greene County:
Bitterly cold temperatures and dangerous wind chills will continue to move south and east through the U.S. the early part of the week. This arctic airmass will affect the eastern two-thirds of the country on Monday as a sharp cold front moves towards the East Coast. The cold temperatures will remain in place through mid-week before a warming trend begins. Locally, the National Weather Service in Albany has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for the region, including Columbia, Greene, Albany, Dutchess, Rensselaer and Ulster counties, for Monday. Wind chill readings may drop to less than -15 or -20 late Monday night. The cold temperatures may continue through Wednesday morning.
